Winter walks around Morzine
It’s undoubtable that our town looks like a winter wonderland when covered in snow. There are many walks that are friendly for all abilities if you don’t fancy going on the mountain. Here are just a few of our favourites:

Lac de Montriond : 3.4km | Difficulty – Easy | Snow under foot but no need for snowshoes. Just footwear with good grip.

Lac des Mines d’Or : 4.5km | Difficultly – Medium/ Hard | Need snowshoes or touring skis/ splitboard.

Dérêches River Walk: 2-7km | Difficulty – Easy | Snowy and muddy in places. No need for snowshoes but footwear with good grip and waterproofing would help.

Cascade de Nyon : 3.6km | Difficulty – Easy/Medium | No need for snowshoes however can be icy in places. Footwear with good grip is a must.
