Montriond – Saturday, 23rd November Time: 3 PM to 7 PM Location: Place de la Maison des Associations (village centre)
Kick off the festive season with Montriond’s Christmas market! Stroll through craft stalls, enjoy creative workshops, and indulge in food and drink. Father Christmas will make a special appearance, and there are plenty of surprises for the whole family.
Essert-Romand – Sunday, 24th November Time: From 9 AM Location: Place Blanche Neige (primary school)
Essert-Romand’s market boasts a wide range of stalls selling handmade decorations, flowers, candles, pastries, and even snails! Father Christmas will also be there to delight the little ones. Don’t miss the lunchtime feast at the Blanche Neige gymnasium.
Le Biot – Friday, 29th November Time: From 4:30 PM Location: Under the Hall, village centre
Celebrate the season with pancakes, mulled wine, and hot chocolate at Le Biot’s festive gathering. There will be singing by local school children and a chance to win a hamper. And you guessed it, Father Christmas will make an appearance!
Saint-Jean-d’Aulps – Sunday, 1st December Time: 2 PM to 7 PM Location: Courtyard of the Primary School
Warm up with a cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate as you browse the stalls showcasing local craftsmanship. It’s a great opportunity to pick up unique Christmas gifts while soaking in the festive atmosphere.
La Baume – Saturday, 7th December Time: 4 PM to 7 PM Location: Place de l’Eglise
This evening promises entertainment for children, a designer market, a tombola, and a quiz. With mulled wine, snacks, and Father Christmas in attendance, it’s a festive celebration not to be missed.
Seytroux – Saturday, 7th December Time: From 6 PM Location: Salle des Fêtes
Join the Seytroux school fair for a fun-filled evening of games and activities for kids. There will also be refreshments and snacks to keep everyone energised and cheerful.
Saint-Jean-d’Aulps Abbey – Saturday, 14th & Sunday, 15th December Time: 11 AM to 6 PM Location: Domaine de Découverte de l’Abbaye d’Aulps
The two-day indoor Christmas market at the Saint-Jean-d’Aulps Abbey is a highlight of the season. Nearly 30 designers, artists, and local producers will showcase their talents, offering unique gifts for your loved ones. Warm up with mulled wine or a bowl of soup while enjoying the magical atmosphere.
And Don’t Forget Santa’s Letterbox
Santa’s elves have set up letterboxes in Le Biot (market hall and Col du Corbier) and Montriond (in front of the Town Hall). Drop off your letter between 25th November and 24th December, and don’t forget to include your full address for a reply from Father Christmas!
