There are so many hiking options around Morzine, and one of our favourites is Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, and I think you can see why. Just an hour’s drive from Morzine, and thanks to all the recent rain, there are copious waterfalls cascading down rockfaces all around the valley.
Parking is free, and the circuit takes 2 hours. It is a flat hike and easy for all abilities. There is a café at the beginning of the walk that is open during peak seasons. However, we recommend taking some water and wearing good, sturdy shoes, as the ground can get loose at times.
Aptly named the Jurassic Park of the Alps, It’s a feast for the eyes that we’d highly recommend seeing!
