Christmas in Montriond
On December 24th, Montriond hosts a festive celebration from 4 PM to 6 PM. Visitors can enjoy mulled wine, hot chocolate, and a slice of a 4-meter-long Yule log, available in chocolate, vanilla, and coffee flavors, something for everyone! Santa Claus will make a grand appearance, accompanied by a fiery parade led by ESF instructors and lively music from Les Viouls du Chablais. Don’t miss the horse-drawn carriage rides through the village—a charming way to soak in the holiday spirit.
Christmas in Morzine
Morzine is pulling out all the stops to make this Christmas truly magical:
December 21: Father Christmas will be at the Place de l’Office de Tourisme from 4 PM to 5 PM, ready to meet the little ones.
December 22: Families can enjoy an enchanting puppet and music show, “Chami Chamo the Camel,” at the Palais des Sports.
December 23: Miss Faustine will serenade visitors with Christmas classics at the Place de l’Office de Tourisme from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
December 24: Santa’s arrival is celebrated in style with a magical parade featuring swans, goblins and stilt walkers. A torchlit descent and fireworks will light up the sky at Pléney from 6 PM, creating a dazzling spectacle.
December 25: Jazz musicians take centre stage at the Place de l’Office de Tourisme, performing Christmas classics, gospel tunes, and Disney medleys.
Throughout the festive season, creative workshops for children will run, offering fun ways to craft holiday decorations.
New Year’s Eve in Morzine
The festivities continue into New Year’s Eve, starting with a spectacular torchlit descent by ESF instructors at 6 PM, followed by a fireworks display at Pléney. To ring in the new year, dance the night away with a live DJ set from 11 PM to 1 AM.
