Avoriaz has announced that they will be open for another Pre-Season weekend this coming Saturday and Sunday (7th and 8th December.) And with an estimated 26cm expected to fall throughout the weekend, it’s looking promising! Here’s all you need to know!
New for This Weekend: Ardent Gondola and Lindarets Bowl Open!
For the first time this winter, the Ardent gondola and Lindarets sector will be operational alongside the Arare area, with three slopes open in each sector. This means more terrain to explore and stunning alpine views to soak up as you enjoy your first runs of the season.
Here’s a rundown of the open lifts:
– Prodains Cable Car: 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM
– Ardent Gondola: 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM
– Lac-Intrêts Chairlift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
– Prolays Chairlift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
– Tour Chairlift: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Getting There and Parking
Parking at Prodains, Ardent, and the Plateau (undercover parking) in Avoriaz will be free for the weekend, making it easy to access the ski area. The Ardent gondola offers convenient entry to the Lindarets bowl, while the Prodains cable car will get you directly to Avoriaz.
Note: No shuttle service will run between Morzine and Prodains. Overnight parking in the station remains prohibited.
Lift Schedule and Passes
Take advantage of reduced pre-opening rates to hit the slopes:
– €21 per day
– €40 for the weekend
– Previously purchased season passes will also be valid for this event.
Tickets are available online, so grab yours now! Or the lift office at the bottom of Prodain is open all week from 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM and the Central Station Ticket Office in Avoriaz will be open from 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM on the weekend.
