Breaking News! Avoriaz is opening THIS WEEKEND!
Hot off the press, it has just been announced that the lifts will open early on Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd! It is forecasted to snow 70cm between now and opening weekend, making the first day of the season a powder day!!!
Which ski lifts will be open will depend on the snow conditions. It will likely be the highest in resort, opening up the Arare and Fornet Area; you may be in luck and even be the first to try out the new Lac Intrêt lift.
The slopes will be accessible via Prodains Cable Car, where parking will be free, and the ski pass offices at the top and bottom of Prodains are open from 8:30am – 4:15pm. You can use your season pass, or a day ticket is €21.00, and a weekend ticket is €40.00.
Ski lifts are open from 8:45am to 5pm. It is time! See you all up there and have a great weekend!
