A New Chairlift & Magic Carpet in the PDS area
Many improvements have been going on within the Portes du Soleil area, including the Bélvédère chairlift at the top of Le Pleney. The old, four-seater, fixed-clamp version has been replaced with a new, high-speed six-seater, meaning fewer queues are faster laps!

Supported by eight brand new pylons, the improved chairlift will transport up to 2,800 people per hour when it re-opens this winter. Providing increased safety and comfort, the improved Bélvèdere will offer faster access to the beginner area and the more demanding pistes at Chamossière and the fun space at the Pointe de Nyon.
Also, at Nyon, there will be a new beginner area featuring a new magic carpet. The new Aiglon beginner mat will provide access to a gentle slope in a secure area for easier learning.
